| Overview: | Jane, a dancer, tells her little sister that tiramisu (an extremely sweet desert) tastes like love. Ko Fung, deaf since an accident robbed him of his hearing, begins to encounter Jane unexpectedly as he goes about his day job as a messenger. He thinks about her at night as he works on a cleaning crew.
Before their romance can even begin, however, tragedy strikes when Jane is killed in an accident. She appears to Ko Fung as a ghost - it turns out that she was as enamored of him as he was of her. It's an impossible love story, of course, doomed from the start. Jane wants to remain just long enough to see her former dance team win a dance competition seven days hence. But underworld cops are searching for her, so that she can be reincarnated. To hide from them, she disappears into Ko Fung's body. That allows him to regain his hearing, and her to use his body so she can dance again.
A deep sense of genuine mourning and loss permeates the story, despite what may seem to be exceedingly silly trappings. Not every viewer will buy into the premise, but adventurous and exceedingly romantic souls will be richly rewarded.
